How much does it cost? What are the prices?

Charges are per minute of use: Electric Scooter €0.25/min, Electric Moped €0.30/min, Bicycle €0.05/min, Car - see app (fuel included). Vehicle reservation is free for the first 10 minutes. No subscriptions or hidden fees. You always see the final rate in the app before starting.

How do I top up my digital wallet?

In the app, go to "Wallet" and add funds by credit or debit card. The minimum top-up is €4 and you need at least €3 available balance to start a ride. You are charged automatically at the end of each ride.

Do I need a driving licence? Which one for each vehicle?

It depends on the vehicle: Electric Scooter, no licence required. Electric Moped, AM category (moped) licence required. Bicycle, no licence required. Car, category B licence and age 21+ required. Upload the necessary documents in the app before first use.

Do I need to wear a helmet?

For the Electric Moped, wearing a helmet is legally mandatory, you will find a helmet inside the vehicle's top-case. For the Electric Scooter, wearing a helmet is strongly recommended for your safety, though not legally required.

I didn't receive an SMS to verify my phone number.

Ensure you have the latest app version and that your phone number and country code are entered correctly. If you still don't receive the SMS, wait a moment and try again.

Can I use the service if I am under 18?

No. The service is exclusively available to persons aged 18 and over. For car rental the minimum age is 21.

What is the Green Zone? What happens if I park outside it?

The Green Zone is the permitted parking area shown on the map. You can ride outside it, but you must return within it to end your ride. Leaving the vehicle outside the Green Zone or in a prohibited spot (e.g. disabled ramp, building entrance) may result in a fine.

How do I start my ride?

Ensure you have at least €3 in your wallet. Select the vehicle on the map and tap "Start Ride". Scan the QR code on the handlebar or frame. For scooters: give a small kick with one foot and gently press the throttle (right handlebar).

Where can I leave the vehicle?

Anywhere within the Green Zone, provided it doesn't block pavements, disabled ramps, or building entrances. Do not leave vehicles in disabled bays, taxi ranks, or in double-parked positions.

How do I finish my ride?

Tap the red "End Ride" button and take a clear photo of the vehicle showing the parking location clearly. The ride is complete when the confirmation screen with the charge appears. For bicycles: manually lock the lock above the rear wheel before tapping End Ride.

Can I reserve a vehicle?

Yes. Select the vehicle and tap the reservation icon next to the "Start" button. Reservations last up to 10 minutes and are completely free.

How do I get my receipt?

The receipt is automatically sent to your email within 24 hours of ending the ride (excluding weekends and public holidays). Make sure the email in your profile is correct. If you don't receive it, contact us.

Technical issues with the vehicle or battery.

If the battery runs out or you encounter any technical problem: park the vehicle safely inside or near the Green Zone, end the ride via the app, and contact support immediately via chat or at support@scoot.ltd.

Can I rent multiple vehicles with one profile?

Yes. You can rent up to 3 vehicles of the same type simultaneously, ideal for groups. During your ride tap "+ Add" at the bottom of the screen and scan the QR code of the next vehicle.

I'm at the right spot but can't see the vehicle.

In some cases GPS can have a small deviation. The vehicle's actual position may differ by 10-30 metres from what's shown in the app. Please check the surrounding area.

🚗 Scoot Transfer

How far in advance must I book?

Bookings must be made at least 3 hours in advance for mainland routes and at least 30 minutes in advance for island routes. Scoot Transfer does not accept on-demand bookings under Greek law.

How do I book a transfer?

There are two ways: Online from your browser at scoot.ltd/booking.html (no account needed), or via the Scoot Transfer app. In both cases: enter your pick-up and destination, choose the vehicle type (Sedan, SUV or Van), set the date and time, and confirm. You receive confirmation immediately.

What vehicle types are available?

Three types are available: Sedan (up to 4 passengers, 2 bags), ideal for airport and city rides. SUV (up to 6 passengers, 4 bags), great for families and intercity. Van (up to 8 passengers, 6 bags), for groups and corporate transfers. You see the final price before confirming.

How do I pay?

We accept card payment (credit or debit) via app and website, as well as cash when booking through scoot.ltd/booking.html. Corporate clients have access to B2B billing with monthly invoicing. Contact us for corporate agreements.

What if my flight is delayed?

For airport bookings we monitor your flight status in real time. The driver adjusts automatically with no extra charge for reasonable delays. You don't need to notify us.

How do I know the driver is the right one?

Shortly before pick-up you receive the driver's full details and vehicle plate number in the app. If the vehicle or driver that arrives does not match what you see, do not board and contact us immediately.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes. Cancellation is free up to 2 hours before pick-up. Cancellations within 2 hours may be partially charged.

Which areas do you serve?

Scoot Transfer is active in Kos, Santorini and Corfu airport transfers, city rides and intercity routes, bookable via app and website. We also operate in Patras (Araxos Airport, city rides, intercity) via the app. For routes in other cities contact us.

Can I book a Transfer without downloading the app?

Yes! Online booking is available directly at scoot.ltd/booking.html, no account or app download needed. The process has 4 steps: choose your route, verify your phone number via SMS, select a vehicle, and confirm. It works from any device mobile, tablet or desktop.

How do I become a driver partner?

You need a professional driving licence, passenger insurance, valid MOT, a vehicle from 2016 or newer and MHTE registration where required. Fill out the online partner application or contact info@scoot.ltd.

Lost items in the vehicle.

Send a message immediately via the in-app chat or to support@scoot.ltd. We will provide you with the driver's contact number so you can reach them directly.

🏢 Franchise

What does the franchise partnership include?

The partnership includes: ready branded app (iOS & Android), cloud backend and management dashboard, IoT firmware and vehicle connectivity, full technical installation and training, brand kit and marketing support from the central team, exclusive territorial rights and ongoing platform updates.

Do I need technical or mobility experience?

No. The platform is ready and our team handles installation. You only need the vehicles, local operating licences and the drive to grow the business in your area.

How many vehicles do I need to start?

We typically recommend starting with at least 10-15 vehicles to ensure adequate coverage. The exact number depends on your city's size and demand, we discuss this together during evaluation.

Is my territory exclusive?

Yes, absolutely. We never approve a second franchise partner in the same market. Exclusivity is secured with the cooperation agreement.

Which cities are available for franchise?

Patras is already active. Available areas for new franchise include: Athens, Thessaloniki, Kos, Rhodes, Heraklion, Chania, Corfu, Zakynthos, Santorini, Ioannina and other urban and tourist destinations. Express interest and we evaluate your market together.

Who handles the permits from the local authority?

The franchise partner is responsible for local permits, but Scoot provides full guidance and document templates for every step of the licensing process.

How does the pricing work, is there a royalty fee?

Commercial terms are discussed during the evaluation process and adapted to city size and market conditions. Contact us for a personalised analysis.

What technical support is available after launch?

24/7 platform support, regular system updates, dedicated account manager, team training and access to the Scoot partner community network.
